Size guide · Medium
Our most popular size: big enough for hikes and the back seat, small enough for a lap on movie night. Available as English Goldendoodles and Twoodles.
You want a dog who can keep up outdoors but still fits an apartment, a car and a kid’s bed.
Sturdier for active families and bigger kids; a little more food, a little more dog.
Easier to lift, travel with and groom, without giving up the Standard’s calm.

About 35–55 lb, and 16–19 inches at the shoulder. A puppy’s size is usually an average of its parents’ size. Sherri’s size guide compares all four sizes.
If you picture the dog on hikes and with bigger kids, Medium. If you picture travel, lap time and a smaller apartment, Small.
Yes. Goldendoodles and Twoodles follow the exact same standard sizes, including Medium. Schnoodles are the ones with their own size standards: see our Teddy Bear Schnoodles.
Yes. Doodle Prep School programs run from 1 to 16 weeks before your puppy goes home. Enroll your puppy by six weeks of age to reserve a spot.
Medium puppies can be picked up or start Doodle Prep School at 9 weeks old. A puppy that is delivered must weigh over 5 pounds.
Every puppy is temperament-tested at seven weeks, and that test is the main factor in deciding which puppy is best for your family. You can tell us your first and second choice from the litter photos, and we include you in the process, but the final match is based on the temperament test.
Yes. A licensed veterinarian examines every puppy before it leaves us, and each one comes with our 2-year health guarantee. It covers hip and elbow dysplasia and congenital heart defects up to two years of age, and any untreatable condition your own vet finds at the check-up we ask you to schedule within three business days of your puppy’s arrival. To make a claim, send us your vet’s written diagnosis, or a PennHIP evaluation for dysplasia, within three to five business days; the exact deadline for each is in the Contract & Health Warranty in your application. For a heart defect or a condition found at that first check-up, once your puppy comes back to us, we provide a replacement puppy. The guarantee asks you to keep your puppy at a healthy weight, have them spayed or neutered by seven months, and come to us first if you ever need to rehome: your doodle always has a place with us.
Their low-to-non-shedding coats are among the most allergy-friendly you’ll find, one of the biggest reasons allergy-sensitive families choose them. Every dog and every allergy is unique, so we’ll never make medical promises — our T-shirt allergy test lets your family check at home before you adopt.
