The 4-Week Starter Puppy Training Program is the most important training block, creating the foundation all future Prep School training builds from. During this program, puppies begin developing a basic working foundation in commands, household manners, crate training, potty routines, handling, and confidence-building. This gives your puppy a helpful head start before going home, while families should still expect to continue practicing and reinforcing training at home.

🐾 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 + 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬
Puppies begin learning basic obedience commands such as 𝐬𝐢𝐭, 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, and 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭, with early focus work and continued fading of lures.

🌙 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 + 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
Puppies work toward 5–7 hours of quiet, accident-free crate time at night, calmer nap-time routines, and early potty structure designed to stay ahead of their needs.

🐶 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 + 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫
Early manners are introduced by rewarding good choices, limiting opportunities for mistakes, and beginning work on jumping, mouthing, and chewing.

🏡 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 + 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Puppies continue exposure to household environments, sights, sounds, surfaces, handling, and age-appropriate experiences to support a well-rounded transition home.

🩺 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 + 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬
Weekly health monitoring, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming are kept up to date throughout training.

📹 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬
Families receive weekly video updates showing their puppy’s progress, milestones, and training development.

🧼 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 + 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠
Puppies are introduced to brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and gentle grooming handling.

💬 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬
Helpful communication words such as 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐞, and 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 are introduced to support clear direction and training.

🦮 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 + 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Puppies begin getting comfortable wearing a collar and leash while being introduced to early leash walking foundations.
